Luluci
may the prinicples be ever upheld, and the pennant's justice swift upon the guilty.
SUMMARY
There are witches and there are outsiders, and the only difference between the two is that witches know that spells are cast by drawing seals with special ink, while outsiders are made to believe magic is something one is born with.
Luluci is a member of the Knights Moralis, the entity responsible for upholding the Pact™️ which protects this secret, governs how witches relate to the outside world, and lays out which types of spells are legal, wiping the memories of those who violate said pact.

PERSONALITY
Luluci comes across as a very strict, serious, and aloof woman, and one who takes her role as a member of the Knights Moralis to heart. Despite her sternness, somewhere lies a compassionate side that cares for others, especially those who are taken advantage of, and cares deeply about protecting the wellbeing and peace of witches against those who would violate it... even for how fragile that peace may end up being.
Appearance
short . blue eyes . blonde hairTypically seen in her rather elaborate Knights Moralis uniform, which is comprised of black robes and a red cloak and pointed, winged hat over top. She has long, blonde hair which she wears in a braided updo.
Amongst her fellow Knights, she is the smallest in stature.
wha manga spoilers ⚠️ cw: mentions of sexual assault and victim-blaming.
Luluci was once an apprentice witch under the tutelage of an opportunistic male witch who, despite the rules of apprenticeship dictating that apprentices cannot perform magic without their master until a certain point in their education, sent Luluci and her fellow apprentice Eryenne to work for a lord.Initially thrilled at the chance to act as full-fledged witches for a day, the two young girls quickly became victims of the lord's untoward behavior and advances. Though Luluci was able to find an opportunity to escape, Eryenne did not - and begged her friend to stay - and Luluci couldn't abandon her friend to even attempt to find help.
So, she protected them both. An "excessive display of force" is what her master accused Luluci of enacting on that day after the fact, along with accusing her of exaggeration, incompetence, and overall siding with the lord over his own two apprentices, urging them to return to him with an apology and moreover to keep quiet about the incident.
When Luluci refused to do any such thing and questioned why her teacher wouldn't listen or believe them, she was taken to the Knights Moralis, where her teacher pleaded with the knights to rid Luluci of her anger by erasing her memories of what happened.
Judgement was swift, and justice was served— her former master was apprehended, with the knights recognizing that there was no guilt or blame to be placed upon Luluci's shoulders. Luluci left the path of being an apprentice witch thereafter, deciding instead to join the Knights Moralis, where she has since become a staunchly dedicated member.
